Adventures in Manufacturing at Canby High School meets weekly after school to work with business partner, Product Manufacturing, on a Manufacturing project. Students are designing and producing a box that meets several specifications. On March 22nd, three teams presented their ¾ scale 3D Printed prototype designs to the other teams as well as representatives from Product Manufacturing, school staff, and workforce development partners. The “Lunchegon” was chosen as the winner and now all students will work toward manufacturing that design.
Adventures in Manufacturing is funded by a grant from the Oregon Community Foundation and Clackamas Workforce Partnership and managed by Clackamas Education Service District. Continued thanks to John Weaber and Product Manufacturing for their extensive partnership and support of this effort!
